Recent Reviews

My mom lived at Drum Hill for the past 7 years. The family took comfort in knowing she was in a safe, clean and caring environment. We all appreciated, including mom, the kind caring staff, from the front desk, kitchen staff, house keeping, transportation drivers & maintenance. Everyone was always available to assist & accommodate her needs. She had a lovely apartment which enabled her to be independent. I am so thankful that we found this facility and I would recommend Drum Hill to anyone. Thank you.

My mom has been living at Drum Hill for over four years and tells us every day how lucky she is to have found the perfect place to live. The staff is wonderful, kind, caring, friendly and every staff member is always willing to go the extra mile to help no matter what time of day or night. Our family takes comfort in knowing that my mom is in a clean, safe, friendly, loving environment and we are extremely grateful to the staff of Drum Hill.

No where better - the right balance between independent living and support services. The staff is exceptionally responsive and the atmosphere is always upbeat. The facilities are kept immaculate. My Mom enjoys the array of food options and all the holiday festivities throughout the year. The entertainment has something for everyone! My Mom loves that the other residents are active and she especially loves her weekly Rummikub tournaments!

I had the pleasure of speaking with Priscilla the other day. My siblings and I are in the process of figuring out what is next and the best place for mom. She was so kind and caring, informative and so knowledgeable. She even offered to speak with any family members and we haven’t even applied to Drum Hill yet. She has the biggest, caring, loving heart. I’m really hoping my siblings are in agreement with me on doing this.

Frequently Asked Questions

Senior living or independent living is housing designed exclusively for older adults. In an independent living setting there is a community that offers amenities and services that allow seniors to connect with peers, participate in activities, and live independently.

Independent living communities offer an affordable and safe alternative that preserves a senior’s independence while allowing the next chapter of life to be the most exciting yet!

As you get older, you may feel as if you are losing your independence. Independent living can make this change easier, by acknowledging increased needs while still allowing seniors to maintain their independence.

Independent living communities primarily focus on serving the social needs of residents, as many are able to live without much support. Assisted living communities support those who need assistance with their health and activities of daily living.
